ConSanFron is short for Conservatoire Sans Frontieres – that is, a ‘Music School without Borders’.  The name is inspired by ‘Médecins Sans Frontières’ (medicine/doctors without borders), the international medical and humanitarian aid organization.

This website aims to be a resource for music teachers and leaders of music institutions who want to explore how the World Wide Web might help transform not only why and how we teach music, but also the ways we teach it, and to whom we teach it.

It is currently the home for on-line materials supporting the international Conservatoires in Society project.
